Каждый православный человек обязательно проходит обряд крещения. И вот перед новоиспеченными родителями возникает задача — выбрать крестных. Больше всего своей ролью обеспокоена крестная мать. Каковы особенности этого обряда, и как проходит крещение ребенка? Правила для крестной мамы должны быть обязательно изучены заранее.   

Крестная мать: обязанности при крещении

Не зря крестных называют вторыми родителями, ведь крещение — это не просто церковный обряд и торжество, а некое таинство. Перед Богом крестные родители клянутся оберегать ребенка, участвовать в его воспитании, делить с ним радость и горе. Крестные родители после крещения становятся восприемниками и обязуются взять на себя ответственность за малыша, если с его родителями что-нибудь случится.

Особого свода правил для крестной мамы не существует. Есть непрописанные истины и негласные положения, которые должна соблюдать каждая представительница прекрасной половины человечества, собирающаяся окрестить малыша. В первую очередь такой церковный обряд проводится на духовном уровне. Между крестными родителями и крохой устанавливается божественная незримая связь. Перед ликами святых крестные мать и отец клянутся во всем помогать малышу. 

Итак, крестной мамой может стать любая женщина, если:

  • она достигла совершеннолетнего возраста;
  • не приходится биологической матерью крохе;
  • не состоит в браке с крестным отцом;
  • крещенная по церковным канонам;
  • является православной верующей.

Если крестят мальчика

При проведении церковного обряда крещения мальчика на руках постоянно держит крестный отец. Крестная лишь помогает ему принять кроху из купели, укутать в полотенце или усмирить плач ребенка в результате перенесенного стресса.

Непосредственно перед крещением мальчика крестная должна выполнить следующие действия:

  • выучить наизусть молитву «Отче Наш» и «Символ Веры»;
  • за два-три дня до крещения сходить в церковь, исповедаться и пройти таинство причащения;
  • в церковь следует в день крещения идти натощак;
  • за пару дней до крещения нужно отказаться от плотских утех.

Для мальчика крестная должна приобрести специальную крестильную рубашку. Она обязательно должна быть белой и из натуральных тканей. Такую рубашку, как правило, надевают сразу по завершении обряда, и малыш должен ее носить в течение 8 дней. Затем ее снимают и хранят родители на протяжении всей жизни.

Во время обряда на крестной обязательно должен быть крестик. Крестная мама должна самостоятельно или вместе с крестным купить освещенный церковью крест с распятьем для младенца. Он должен быть на ленточке.

Также крестная мама должна позаботиться о полотенце. Лучше всего взять большое полотенце, чтобы укутать кроху после окунания в купель.

 Крещение девочки

Если женщина крестит девочку, то она будет держать ее на руках на протяжении всего обряда. Крещение длится примерно около одного часа. Крестная мать должна быть без макияжа. В церковь надевают только светлую и невызывающую одежду. Лучше отказаться от обуви на каблуке, поскольку в ней неудобно, да и в целом внешний вид не будет соответствовать церковным требованиям. Нельзя идти на крещение в брюках. На голову следует повязать платок. Юбка или платье обязательно должны прикрывать колени.

Во время крещения девочки крестная мама должна будет произнести молитву «Символ Веры», поэтому ее следует заучить наизусть заранее. Так же, как и при крещении мальчика, крестная должна заранее исповедаться и причаститься. Если крестная сама не проходила такой обряд, то сначала крестят ее, а затем малышку. 

Помимо ажурной хлопковой рубашки, в церковь малышке нужно надевать чепчик. Крестная мама должна взять с собой пакетик, в который потом можно будет сложить остриженную прядь волос, одежду.

Также крестные родители выбирают нательный крестик для малышки. Необязательно он должен быть изготовлен из драгоценного металла, главное, чтобы крестик был заранее окрещен в церкви.

Бытует мнение, что крестная мама должна иметь своих детей, чтобы получить право окрестить другого ребенка. Это все предрассудки. Родители малышки выбирают на роль крестной матери близкую по духу женщину, которая к такому обряду подойдет с максимальной ответственностью.

Что должна делать крестная после крещения?

Крестная мать обязательно должна позаботиться о подарке для своего духовного сына или дочери. К числу наиболее подходящих крестильных подарков следует отнести:

  • детскую одежду;
  • книги;
  • игрушки;
  • серебряную ложку;
  • крестик;
  • предметы личного пользования для малыша;
  • Библию;
  • серьги;
  • браслет;
  • именной фотоальбом.

Крестная мама должна позаботиться о том, чтобы родители взяли все необходимые атрибуты для крещения. В церкви биологические родители при совершении обряда не находятся, поэтому крестной заранее нужно пообщаться с малышом, чтобы он успел к ней привыкнуть. Это необходимо для того, чтобы крестная мама могла успокоить плач крохи, правильно его запеленать и держать на руках. Ребенку должно быть комфортно рядом с крестными родителями.

По светским и церковным канонам после крещения устраивают застолье. Крестная мать должна организовать этот праздник. Также после крещения на крестную мать возлагается ряд обязанностей, в частности:

  • принимать полноценное участие в мирском и духовном воспитании крохи;
  • произносить молитвы за своего крестника и заботиться о нем на духовном уровне;
  • ходить вместе со своим духовным сыном или дочерью в церковь;
  • уделять внимание и дарить подарки малышу в день ангела, на годовщину крещения, а также на день рождения;
  • разделять с ребенком все радости и горести;
  • выслушивать малыша, больше общаться с ним и помогать в решении различных проблем;
  • стать примером для своего духовного сына или дочери.
